CLR = Create, Learn, Realize
He founded his record label in 1999, which was a year of great accomplishment for the Frankfurt based producer. He was ranked among the best producers/remixers and DJ by top magazines and his hard work and passion started paying off as he became a regular presence in these charts and more.
In 2001 he started CLRetry, which was a remix only label and released for artists like Marco Carola, Speedy J and many others. 2002 meant the establishment of CLR, as the record's office started taking care of all his bookings and in 2003, Chris Liebing released his first album “Evolution”, which was very well received, both by critics and public. From here things could only go up and so they did!
A mile stone in CLR history was 2009, when the techno imprint celebrated its 10th anniversary and change was translated into evolution. The label was restructured, opened an office in Berlin and was officially renamed: CLR - CREATE LEARN REALIZE! That year, Chris also started producing his weekely CLR podcast.
In 2013, it counts artists like: Brian Sanhaji, Tommy Four Seven, Drumcell, Monoloc, Rebekah and of course, founder and one of the most acclaimed techno DJs in the world, CHRIS LIEBING; with releases during the years from top producers like Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Joseph Capriati, Function and many others.
We are hoping that we'll see CLR's amazing DJs performing on Romanian stages as much and as soon as possible!
